Mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Melakukan Pengabdian Masyarakat dengan melakukan pengajaran Bahasa Inggris kepada anak-anak tingkat SD/SMP/SMA di Desa Puse, Dusun Buluminung. Minggu (20/11/2022).
lrmasari selaku ketua EDSA (English Department Students Association) mengatakan, proses pengenalan bahasa Inggris merupakan bahasa Internasional.
“Kami berharap, kegiatan seperti ini akan terus berlanjut dan anak-anak semakin bersemangat belajar bahasa asing, khususnya bahasa Inggris,” ujar Irmasari.
Peran yang penting juga dilakukan ketua EDSA bercerita, dengan semangat dan antusiasme yang tinggi, dia menjelaskan kepada anak-anak bahwa bahasa asing, khusunya bahasa Inggris memberi manfaat berlimpah di kemudian hari.
Suasana riuh, menyenangkan juga muncul di dalam pengajaran Bahasa Inggris dengan metode yang atraktif dan komunikatif, anak-anak bersemangat mengenal dasar bahasa Inggris, sesekali dengan menyanyi.
“Ketika kami mengajarkan, respons mereka sangat cepat untuk menirukan dan menjawab beberapa pertanyaan dan kami memberikan hadiah untuk beberapa orang bagi yang menjawab pertayaan terbanyak dan benar. ”ucap Eviyanti.
Menurut Evi, model pengabdian masyarakat ini sangat bermanfaat bagi anak-anak. “Ini modal bagi mereka. Kami pun banyak belajar dari semangat mereka untuk maju,”tambahnya.
Usai acara pengabdian masyarakat, atas nama mahasiswa PBI, dilanjutkan foto bersama dan pembagian hadiah bagi pemenang kuis,
