Sejumlah mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam Aliansi Mahasiswa STKIP Peduli melakukan aksi penggalangan dana untuk membantu Korban musibah kebakaran di Desa Tampiala, Kecamatan Dampal Selatan dua hari yang lalu. Aksi solidaritas kemanusiaan ini disambut sangat antusias oleh masyarakat dan Kepala desa Tampiala. Rupiah demi rupiah pun masuk dalam kotak sumbangan. Jumat (28/04/2023).
Sebelumnya, rumah dapur dan perabotan dapur, televisi dan perabotan lainnya habis terbakar, Rabu (26/04/2023) sekitar pukul 00.30 WITA dini hari.
Koordinator aksi galang dana, Nazrul mengatakan kegiatan tersebut merupakan bentuk solidaritas mahasiswa STKIP ABMUL Dampal Selatan terhadap korban yang mengalami musibah kebakaran.
“Aksi ini merupakan bentuk kepedulian kami terhadap korban yang mendapat musibah kebakaran dua hari yang lalu agar dapat memberikan keringanan beban. Saat ini mereka sedang membutuhkan bantuan dan perhatian dari berbagai pihak,” ujar mahasiswa Pendidikan PPKn saat diwawancai oleh humas.
Sementara itu Ketua STKIP ABMUL Dampal Selatan mengapresiasi kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa dalam membantu meringankan beban korban yang terkena musibah kebakaran karena hal tersebut merupakan bagian dari tri dharma perguruan tinggi.
“Saya sangat bangga dan mengapresiasi mahasiswa dalam hal ini, karena mereka peka terhadap permasalahan atau musibah yang dialami oleh korban kebakaran tersebut” Tutup Dr.Rus’an, S.Ag, M.Pd.
