Lagi-lagi mahasiswa STKIP DS kembali turun ke jalan menggalang dana untuk membantu sesama. kali ini seorang anak yang kena penyakit busung lapar yang kurang mampu secara ekonomi membiayai pengobatannya, ini menarik simpatik dan empatik bagi segenap mahasiswa STKIP Dampal Selatan untuk menyalurkan bantuannya slot kepada anak yang mengalami penyakit busung lapar. Ketua STKIP Dampal Selatan (Rus’an Abd Mujib, M.Pd) mengapresiasi apa yag dilakukan oleh mahasiswa STKIP DS. ini adalah bentuk kepedulian sosial atau kepekaan sosial yang dilakukan mahasiswa. Sikap kepedulian sosial yang dilakukan mahasiswa STKIP DS merupakan salah satu contoh pembelajaran karakter yang ada di STKIP DS.
