Berita STKIP DS – Ketua BEM STKIP Dampal Selatan Gustawan bersama Civitas Akademika STKIP Dampal Selatan, kembali turun kejalan dalam upaya turut serta ambil bagian mencegah penyebaran pendemi Covid – 19 di Wilayah Kecamatan Dampal Selatan dan sekitanya. Tujuannya membagikan masker penutup wajah secara gratis, yang diproduksi langsung oleh Mahasiswa STKIP Dampal Selatan.
Ketua BEM STKIP Dampal Selatan mengemukakan bahwa “ apa yang kami lakukan ini dalam rangka memberi bantuan kepada masyarakat berupa pembagian masker secara gratis dalam upaya menangani penyebaran virus corona. Masker ini dibuat langsung oleh mahasiswa STKIP Dampal Selatan.
Sementara Ketua Yayasan STKIP Dampal Selatan Rus’an Abd. Mujib sekaligus Pendiri STKIP Dampal Selatan mengemukakan, Kelangkaan masker penutup wajah yang saat ini banyak digunakan untuk mencegah infeksi Covid-19 mendorong BEM STKIP Dampal Selatan tergerak untuk memproduksi Masker secara massal. Aplikasi dari bahan-bahan ini berupa kain katun yang digunakan untuk pembuatan Masker adalah bahan pilihan yang mampu menangkal bakteri. Selanjutnya beliau menghimbau kepada masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi memberikan donasi melalui STKIP DS PEDULI untuk disalurkan kepada masyarakat yang terdampak Covid 19.
