Suasana kegembiraan menyambut bulan suci Ramadhan, pancaran cahaya yang keluar dari bilah bambu menerangi suasana disepanjang jalan di sudut-sudut Desa yang ada di Kecamatan Dampal Selatan. Pawai obor yang prakarsai oleh Mahasiswa STKIP ABMUL Dampal Selatan diikuti oleh ratusan warga dari berbagai kalangan, hingga pelajar SMP dan SMA, organisasi saka Bhayangkara dan tim polsek Dampal Selatan yang mengawal kegiatan ini demi tertibnya arus lalu lintas, semua larut dalam kegembiraan menyambut bulan suci Ramadhan 1444 H.
Pawai obor dimulai dari halaman kampus STKIP ABMUL Dampal Selatan, selanjutnya para peserta pawai obor berjalan melintasi Desa Tampila dan Desa Soni. Ketua STKIP ABMUL Dampal Selatan Dr.Rus’an, S.Ag.,M.Pd mengapresiasi kegiatan pawai obor ini, kita harus terus melestarikan tradisi pawai obor dalam menyambut bulan suci ramadhan, ini bentuk kegembiraan masyarakat dalam menyambut bulan suci ramadhan. Terimakasih juga kepada semua pihak yang sudah berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ini.
Ditempat terpisah tidak kalah meriahnya, Mahasiswa KKN STKIP ABMUL Dampal Selatan Angk III kerjasama dengan pemerintah Desa Tinabogan Kec. Dondo juga menggelar pawai obor menyambut bulan suci Ramadhan, diikuti oleh masyarakat Desa Tinabogan dan santri Pondok Pesantren Darul Mustofaa Dondonio Kec. Dondo.
