Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) angkatan 2024 STKIP ABMUL Dampal Selatan melaksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di Madrasah Aliyah DDI Ogoamas pada Jumat (12/6/2026). Kegiatan ini merupakan implementasi dari mata kuliah Sistem Politik Indonesia yang diampuh oleh Ahmad Yudianto, S.Pd., M.Pd.
Mengusung tema “Dari Kelas ke Kotak Suara: Membangun Budaya Literasi Demokrasi Melalui Pemilihan Ketua OSIS”, mahasiswa memberikan edukasi kepada siswa mengenai pentingnya demokrasi, partisipasi politik, serta proses pemilihan yang jujur dan bertanggung jawab. Melalui simulasi dan pendampingan proses pemilihan Ketua OSIS sebagai sarana pembelajaran demokrasi yang dekat dengan kehidupan peserta didik.
Melalui kegiatan ini, siswa memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai nilai-nilai demokrasi, hak dan kewajiban sebagai pemilih, serta pentingnya menghargai perbedaan pilihan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Selain memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna bagi siswa, kegiatan PKM ini juga menjadi wadah bagi mahasiswa untuk mengaplikasikan ilmu yang diperoleh di bangku kuliah dalam kehidupan nyata.
Kegiatan berlangsung dengan antusias dan diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan budaya demokrasi yang sehat serta meningkatkan literasi politik siswa sejak dini di lingkungan sekolah.
