Untuk mengisi kegiatan pada bulan Ramadhan, Mahasiswa English Department Student Association (EDSA) menyelenggarakan Sweet Sugar Ramadhan. Sweet Sugar ini merupakan bentuk kegiatan berbagi kebaikan pada bulan Ramadhan. Adapun yang dilakukan oleh Mahasiswa EDSA dengan konsep berbagi takjil. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Desa Puse dan Desa Bangkir, Kecamatan Dampal Selatan. Jumat (24/03/2023)
“Ide ini muncul karena adanya rasa peduli para mahasiswa akan rasa saling membantu antar sesama dan kegiatan ini juga sebagai bentuk rasa syukur kita kepada Allah SWT atas semua kenikmatan serta masih diberikan kesempatan untuk menjalani ibadah puasa di tahun ini, sekaligus memperkenalkan dan mempromosikan program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris (EDSA) kepada masyarakat”, ungkap ketua EDSA, saat diwawancarai”.
Rahmatul Ummu, S.Pd.,M.Pd selaku Ketua Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris sangat mengapresiasi kegiatan ini. “Semoga dengan kegiatan ini dapat terus meningkatkan tingkat kepedulian kita terhadap sesama dan bermanfaat untuk sekitar”, ungkap Ketua Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris”.
